Abstract: A new mixed stochastic-analytical approach to the problem of qualitative detection of wave signals from noisy data is developed. It is based on the idea of interpreting some stochastic ob- jects in an analytical sense. In such a way a computable detection criterion and some sucient detectability conditions are obtained in terms of a certain detection operator.
